Il 24 settembre 2016 ci ritroviamo a Forte Azzano per questo primo CITO veronese. Avremo la possibilità di stare in compagnia e divertirsi contribuendo alla pulizia della zona su cui insiste il Forte. Inoltre anche chi avesse partecipato nell’aprile 2016 ad altri CITO-event, riceverà il nuovo speciale souvenir in versione settembrina.
PROGRAMMA
ore 15.00 – inizio event: briefing, distribuzione del materiale, suddivisione dei gruppi ed assegnazione delle zone da bonificare dai rifiuti
ore 15.15 – 17.00 - attività di pulizia
ore 17.15 - termine event: raduno dei rifiuti al punto di raccolta
Al termine dell’event verrà effettuata una visita guidata alla caponiera, al ridotto ed al piazzale interno del Forte.
Bicchierata per tutti al termine dell'event. Per la sera abbiamo organizzato una cena all'interno della caponiera del forte. Risotto col tastasale appositamente preparato da uno chef d'eccezione, arrosto e dolci (che qualche anima pia porterà ...) E' previsto un contributo max di € 5 per persona (solo per gli adulti, giovani gratis).
Chi intendesse restare anche per la sera è comunque pregato di comunicarlo unitamente al numero di persone presenti nel will attend ENTRO MERCOLEDI' 21 SETTEMBRE.
ATTREZZATURE ED ABBIGLIAMENTO
Il materiale per la raccolta viene gentilmente messo a disposizione da AMIA che curerà anche il successivo ritiro dei rifiuti raccolti.
E’ raccomandato l’utilizzo di scarpe adatte a percorsi accidentati, l’uso di pantaloni lunghi ed eventuali giacche antipioggia in quanto l’event si terrà anche in caso di pioggia (limitando eventualmente i percorsi in funzione dell’intensità delle precipitazioni).

On September 24, 2016 we are in Forte Azzano for this first Veronese CITO. We will have the opportunity to enjoy company and have fun contributing to the cleanliness the area of Forte Azzano. Also those who had participated in April 2016 to other CITO-event, will receive now the new special souvenir (september version).
PROGRAM
15.00 – event’s start: briefing, distribution of material, division of people into groups and set areas to be cleaned
15:15 - 17:00 - cleaning activities
17.15 - end event: gathering of waste to the collection point
At the end of the Event there will be a guided tour of the caponier, the reduced and the inner square of the Fort.
Appetizer for everyone after the event. For the evening we organize a dinner inside the caponiera. Risotto with tastasale prepared by a special chef, roast and cake (which someone will bring ...) Maximum contribution of € 5 per person (for adults only, young free).
For those who will wish to stay for the evening is required to communicate the number of people present in will attend NOT AFTER WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 21.
EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING
The material for the collection is kindly provided by AMIA that will cure the subsequent withdrawal of the collected waste.
It’s recommended the use shoes for uneven ground, the use of long pants and jackets because the event will also be held in case of rain (possibly by limiting the paths depending on the intensity of rainfall).

Appartiene ai forti della “seconda cerchia”; costruito dagli austriaci negli anni 1860/1861 prendeva originariamente il nome di Werk Neu Wratislaw nome del conte Johann Wratislaw von Mittrowitz (1797-1865), capo di Stato Maggiore d'Armata sotto Radetzky, nel 1848-1849. A partire dal 1866 assume l’attuale denominazione.
Progettato dalla direzione del Genio Austriaco a tracciato poligonale è simile, seppur di dimensioni leggermente inferiori e con potenza di fuoco ridotta, ad altri della zona.
Era armato con trenta cannoni ed aveva una guarnigione di soldati austriaci composta da circa 350 militari.
Attualmente il forte è in uso a varie associazioni, tra cui la protezione civile, che ne curano la manutenzione ordinaria.
E’ quindi un luogo in cui l’opera di bonifica dai rifiuti acquisisce una valenza sia ecologica che culturale.
FORTE AZZANO
It belongs to the forts of the "second circle"; built by the Austrians in the years 1860/1861 originally took the name of Werk Neu Wratislaw name of Count Johann von Wratislaw Mittrowitz (1797-1865), Chief of Staff of the Army under Radetzky, in 1848-1849. Starting in 1866 its name is Forte Azzano.
Designed from the direction of the Austrian genius, it’s polygonal shape, it’s similar, although smaller and with reduced firepower, to others forts in the area.
He was armed with thirty cannon and had an Austrian garrison composed of about 350 soldiers.
Currently the fort is in use in various associations, including civil protection, who look after routine maintenance.
It’s a place where the reclamation from waste acquires a value both ecological and cultural.
