The story of an extraordinary hare
A very, very long time ago in a land far, far away, there lived a hare. He longed for the day when he could visit the land on the other side of the mountains. There were rumours of a very pretty princess hare living on an open field with all the carrots one can dream of.

In his way however, was a large and very daunting maze filled with dangers. There were rumours of people getting lost in there to never return, some returned but their eyes were red and their hair missing from their heads. Maybe that is why the hair dresser in town is so busy....
He finally mustered enough courage and energy and set on his journey. Along the way he collected information he did not understand but was sure he was going to need it. Step by step he wrote down what he saw.

Having finally reached the other side of the maze he found the princess hare who was so happy to finally see her curse being broken by the prince that arrived. The two fell in love instantly and got married on that day.
But the happiness were short lived. The witch that had cursed the princess hare to eternal loneliness reappeared to spoil the party. The witch cursed the princess once again so that they could never have kids.
The only way to break the curse was to answer a riddle.
The riddle goes: "Little Hare, Little Hare, if you want kids to spare, answer me this, Liber Abbaci provides the answer to how many kids you will bear. At the end of 1 year, in a perfect world, how many hares will there be? Add this to South and remove this from East to find the key to unlocking your trouble."
And with that the witch disappeared, leaving the princess locked in a tower out of reach. The hare started immediately and after working out how many hares there would be, he made the necessary adjustments to the information he gathered.
As he said the answer out load, the witch appeared and then exploded into a screaming puff of smoke that vanished into the air.
Using the key to unlock his princess he found a scroll with many riches. Not bothered by it he simply added his mark and left to live happily ever after with the love of his life and their many, many children.
The End
