The Great Flitwick-ish Cake Off II - F.A.C.E. #5 Event Cache

The 5th event in the F.A.C.E series of events in the Flitwick and Ampthill area will be on Thursday 27th October 2016, the day after we learn who the best amateur baker of 2016 is!

I have eaten cake (lots of cake) at local caching events that is as good as, if not better, than some of the ones that have been shown on TV.

With this in mind I have made this event a cake special.

I encourage you to put your baking skills to the test and bring along some home-made favourites.

Mrs DJ:CD has been pre-warned that I will be baking a cake for this event - we just need to decide who will be doing the washing up (different year, same joke)!

The pub will be serving food and drinks - there is no requirement to book beforehand. I will inform the landlord of how many "will attend" logs I have in order to give him an approximation of guest numbers.

The judging will start at 7pm (event start time) with the final crumbs to be consumed at 9pm (event finish time) - obviously your welcome to arrive earlier and/or stay later! Arrive late and you may find the cake has all gone!
