Pop along to Umstead Park for those basic food nutrition items, coffee and dougnuts and a clean up of the lakeshore.

Come join us and help clean up a small section of Umstead State Park. This has been an event filled weekend, so let's make sure we leave the park in better shape than we found it and hopefully we can leave a positive impression on the park staff. We will meet at the posted co-ords at 8:30 am, doughnuts and coffee will be provided. We can pick up trash along the lakeside and if we have time, the rangers would also like us to give the outside of the cabins a nice clean so we can get rid of all the cobwebs and dirt dauber nests. We do recommend that you bring gloves to protect your hands.


So come on out Sunday morning at 8:30 am, grab a doughnut and some coffee, a trash bag and help us clean up a beautiful park. .
