The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Please solve the following puzzle to determine its location.
One of our responsibilities as geocachers is to pass the sport obsession on to others, be they our children, dogs, nieces and nephews, friends, neighbors, letter carriers or our letter carrier's sister's boyfriend.
Those to whom we pass the fever become our protégés and apprentices. Our Geojuniors.
This puzzle involves matching sets of two "parents" with their Geojuniors. In case you find yourself paired with your Geonemesis, the relation needn't imply marriage! Perhaps only a mentoring partner. Also, since we live in an enlightened time, gender is irrelevant in solving the puzzle.
In the table below, each column is arranged alphabetically. Your job is to identify matches between two parents and their Geojunior, for example:
Parent 1: Red-Rovers
Parent 2: Blue Meanies
Geojunior: ThePurpleVagrant
Parent 1: boa guy
Parent 2: Cobragirl04
Geojunior: SerpentCacher
The parents are mostly actual cachers, predominantly NWerners. With a few exceptions, the juniors are the names I came up with and are not actual cachers. The fact that some of the cachers have zero finds has no bearing on the puzzle.
There are multiple possibilities for matching some of the names, so you may have to do some trial-and-error. Hopefully, the design will lead you to the intended combinations! If you get stuck, I'm glad to help or make alterations for clarity if needed.
The table can be printed out on one page to work with. Try highlighting it, copying (Ctrl-C), pasting into Word, etc and decreasing the top and bottom margins to .2".
