The Poles Walk, Waihi Beach
A new track up behind the water reservoir at the end of Pacific Road.
The Poles walk is a beautiful hike up a ridge and then down another ridge through native bush and old pines.
At the top you will uncover a spectacular view over Waihi Beach and beyond. Quite a good walk for those who’d like to get off the beaten track and explore somewhere new.
The Council are billing this walk as the best at the beach.
There are some steep parts with Lots of steps
Mind the kids as path can be slippy
It is a new formed track,
