My upstairs neighbor has a boy who is interested in geocaching. He knew a little bit about it and even knew about the word SWAG. Well, we were impressed! He told his father that he wanted to try it. We explained to his father that this is an excellent outdoor activity for him and his son. They spend a lot of time together, being active together. So, this polite, well mannered little boy geocache placed in his honor to see if he likes and will take part in Geocaching. We explained that they can use their smart phone, a free app and basic free membership to get started and see if they like it. I even made Max a little swag bag so he can trade out for swag which I added to this cache. Let's see if we can get them hooked on geocaching too!
This is a regular geocache in a mostly camoflauged 8"x5" container, about 3" tall. Inside is SWAG that a 9 year old boy might like. There are 2 path tags taped to the underside of the lid, for Max. He will realize these are our dog and license plate. Then he will know where I got my license plate word from. It's my geocaching name. If you have read this message prior to finding this geocache, kindly leave the 2 pathtags for Max.
If you take a trinket from the geocache, please replace it with something of equal or greater value. Sign the included log book with your chosen geocaching name and date. Lastly, If you notice and take a travel bug from the cache (it would have a dog tag with a trackable number on it) it must be logged into geocaching.com and moved to another geocache within a reasonable timeframe. Trackables all have a goal, so if you can help it reach it's goal, even better.
