The Adventure of the Creeping Man
Trevor Bennett, personal secretary to Professor Presbury, comes to Holmes and Tupper with a most unusual problem. It seems the professor left home for two weeks without telling anyone where he was going. Upon his return, the professor's usually faithful Irish Wolfhound has taken to attacking him on occasion, and has had to be tied up outside. Holmes knows from his study of dogs that this is significant. The whole household feels that they are living with another man, not the professor they once knew. There are definite changes in his moods and habits, some quite bizarre; however, his mind does not seem to be adversely affected. Mr Bennett observed a curious behaviour in his employer when, one night, he opened his bedroom door and saw the professor crawling along the hall on his hands and feet. Holmes and Watson show up at the home where Holmes observes the professor's thick and horny knuckles. Holmes and Tupper are then treated to a firsthand display of Professor Presbury's odd behaviour. He comes out of the house, scampers about on all fours, climbs on the creeper, and torments the tied-up dog. The professor is behaving like a monkey. The dog gets loose and attacks the professor. Holmes finds a little wooden box which contains a drug, as Holmes expected, but there is also a letter there from a quack doctor whose help the professor sought out as a way of achieving rejuvenation. The drug is an extract obtained from monkeys and, although it has apparently given the professor renewed energy, it has also given him some of the monkey's traits. Holmes solves the case and Tupper resolves to never monkey around with drugs.
CACHE: To find the ammo can, you might have to do a little creeping of your own.

- While visiting any Georgia State Park, please obey all park rules and remain on the marked trails as you make your way to the geocache location.
- Pets are welcome but must be on a 6' leash at all times. Please be a good pet owner and clean up after your pet.
