楽水園は博多駅近くのオフィス街の一画にある日本庭園です。( 楽水園のサイト )
楽水園は池泉回遊式（ちせんかいゆうしき）の庭園で茶室も併設されており、今日もここで茶会が開かれています。
どうやら、本日はジオキャッシング・ジャパン株式会社大阪本社からお客様がいらっしゃったようです。

なるほど。それにしても、この楽水園を囲った塀は変わっとりますなぁ。何か謂れがおますのかいなぁ？

この塀は「博多塀（はかたべい）」と言います。１５８７年に九州平定を成し遂げた豊臣秀吉が荒廃した博多の町の復興を命じた際に焼け石や焼け瓦などを使った土塀を作らせたことが由来ですのよ。

ほう。博多にも太閤秀吉の足跡がおますのやな。さすが秀吉さんや。ところで、この博多塀は新しいように見受けられますが、戦国時代のものではおませんのやろ？

勿論そうです。この楽水園は江戸時代末期に建てられたものですが、それを福岡市が平成７年に庭園として整備しました。その際、建設当時に作成された下絵を基に博多塀は再現されました。実はこの博多塀について面白い話が伝わっていますのよ。それは、下絵の中に「秀吉からの言い伝え」が隠されている、というものなんです。

そりゃ、おもろい話ですなぁ。秀吉の言い伝えならお宝の場所が隠されてるんやおまへんかぁ？でも、待てよ。江戸時代末期の下絵に太閤秀吉の言い伝えが残されているちゅうのは、少し無理とちゃいませんか？

おっしゃるとおりですわ。この楽水園に伝わる話では、江戸時代末期の下絵は戦国時代の下絵を模写したもので、「秀吉からの言い伝え」は当時の先端技術・知識を活かして隠し直された、そうです。実際、ここ楽水園にはその下絵のコピーがあります。これです。言い伝えの内容がお宝の在りかなら楽しそうですね。

Rakusuien is a Chisen Kaiyushiki Japanese Teien Garden (a fairly large garden form that allows visitors to view the garden while strolling around its pond and fountain and through its premise). and added to "Tyasitsu"(tea-ceremony room)in a garden.Today, a tea party is open now here.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi(1536-1598) built walls for shrines， temples and places of commerce as a part of war-damage reconstruction. The clay walls are made with reclaimed burnt rocks and roof tiles from the war, which are called “Hakatabei”.

Sure. Rakusuien was built in later of Edo era, then Fukuoka city maintained it as a garden in 1995. The Hakatabei was reproduced based on a sketch which made in construction those days on this occasion. In fact, an interesting story comes about this Hakatabei. "messages from Hideyoshi" is hidden in a sketch.

Oh, it is an interesting story. If it is a legend of Hideyoshi, is a place of the treasure not covered? But wait a minute, is it not impossible that messages of Hideyoshi of the age of Japanese civil war era is left in sketch of the Edo era?

In a story to reach Rakusuien, and "messages from Hideyoshi" kept in the sketch of the later Edo era was hidden by new advanced technology, knowledge, with the thing which copied a sketch for the age of Japanese civil war era again. Actually, there is the copy of the sketch in the here Rakusuien. It is Here. If the contents of the legend are whereabouts of the treasure, I am looking for funny.
