This cache is placed on the Big Sand Creek road that follows this creek along the valley to the east of the hills east of Galloway. Accessing it from the Big Sand Creek end is the easiest and recommended route. The road does continue on to the headwaters of Little Sand Creek, so access from this end is possible. However, the road is VERY rough with two or three near washouts, and it is a long way. But, should you choose this access, the views are astonishing. Be sure to go on good weather days. Bring a pencil.
