Geocache Description:

Plettenberg Bay Shell Letterbox Series
Welcome to the Plettenberg Bay one of the most Special and Beautiful places to us. Every moment shared here is a complete privilege. Trust you able to soak up and enjoy any bit of the beauty you can and that is the most important thing about all our caches in Plett.

Significance of this Final Cache
The Spindle shell in real life does exists in this region and although rare to spot can be seen here. It is also the largest of all the shells of this delicate variety in its family. There is a direct correlation between this shell being the largest variety in its family and this cache being the largest cache in the series. It is the only large cache in Plettenberg Bay and also it is the largest walkway cache in the country of any variety at its placement and we Trust that its uniqueness will be appreciated. There are numerous other synergies and metaphors between this cache and this amazing shell that one can enjoy when pondering on.

PLEASE note the cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. You need to follow the narrative story. To reach the cache you follow the following adventure treasure Hunt: Arriving at the listed coordinates you are 20m from the cache. Walk away from the river along the boardwalk. You are looking for a small low stump on the left of the board walk 2m away from the side. This will mean you should be standing in the particularly dark section of planks on the boardwalk with some black patches. This will be in the middle third region of the boardwalk from the bridge. Below the wooden walkway will be your huge surprise.

You can actually completely hide under the boardwalk if needed. Please just be wise to preserve the cache and discretion with the lock not leaving the lock on the ground to expose the code.

PLEASE Preserve and do NOT remove the Letterbox stamp kit with a stamp and ink pad in a zip lock bag in the cache. Please ensure the ink pad is properly sealed closed so the ink does not dry so the following cachers can enjoy it just as much. Thanks very much.

Hope you really enjoy the cache and the environment and the peacefulness.
