This is a micro cache so no room for any swag. Bring your own writing implement.
A small cemetery in Ontario County. No night caching please. Do not upset or disturb any markers or headstones. You do not need to move or touch any of them to collect the information needed. Gentle respect for the occupants is expected. Please don't bring animals or allow small children to run about. If you have your children with you, by all means have them help collect the information you need and use this as a learning experience for them about proper cemetery behavior.
Here is a cemetery cache with a little work involved. You have to locate certain headstones and use the dates to calculate the final cache location. When you have a date such as 1/1/2016 add the zero in the day field to yield the needed number (e.g. 1012016).
Find the following stones and make note of the dates of death listed.
On the western edge, find the main MacCauley marker.
Now go east 30 feet and find the white stone next to a leaning grey stone.
Go a little southeast and find a stone next to a broken marker
Now find a wooden cross
Sum up the dates and subtract 14169408 to determine Latitude for the cache location
One row east of the cross is a line of markers. Choose the second marker from the road
Now go west about 30 feet and find a Sarah
At the eastern edge is a white stone taller that the others. The name on this stone faces east
Sum up the dates and subtract 9904069 to determine Longitude for the cache location which is a short drive (0.44 miles) away
