Geocache Description:

Well, it's time for geocachers to give something back to the areas we love through caching! We will be litter picking around Beeston Lock and carrying out other tasks such as preparing flower beds for planting and painting..

Meet at the published co-ordinates for 10.30am before setting off in smaller groups before returning to the published co-ordinates at about 1pm.

This event is being run with the support of the Canal and River Trust. They will be providing the bin bags and any other equipment needed. They will also arrange for the collection and disposal of the rubbish at the end of the event. If you have your own gardening gloves, feel free to bring them. This is the second time that we have run a CITO on this stretch of the canal. 

The Canal and River Trust have requested that due to safety and the nature of some of the tasks, that no children attend.
