Does Your Grandpuppy Speak Japanese? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

RedhedMary: Way too many DNFs here, I keep replacing it and it keeps disappearing. Time to let it go. Marty will be disappointed - he's coming "home" for a visit at Christmas when his "dad" Scott moves on to a new duty station.

Geocache Description:

Our grandpuppy, Marty, lived with us for a year and a half as his owner, our son Scott, was stationed at a base where he could not bring his dog.  He was born in Japan.  Upon posting pictures of him on Facebook, one of the questions we were asked was "Does he speak Japanese?"

This cache was placed in honor of our grandpuppy, Marty, who joined our household for a year and a half while his owner, our son Scott, was at a base where he could not have a dog with him.  He is a bassett-corgi mix, long and low. One question we have been asked about Marty is "Does he speak Japanese?"  The answer is, no, he just barks and that is a universal dog language!  Does he understand Japanese?  Probably a few words, but since he's been living with an English-speaking person, he understands much more English than Japanese.

The biggest adjustment in our family was for Max, the caching dog.  It wasn't easy having to share when you were an only dog for 7 years!  Max seems happy to be an only dog again now.

Marty moved to England on 12/28/2017 and now lives with Scott there. We miss him already!

Enjoy the cache!
