7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in familiar and highly visible territory, but with the amount of muggle traffic, it still poses a significant challenge to those who seek it. A well sealed screw top capped PVC Pipe container holds some swapables for cachers.

As an integrated part of the 2016 Main Street Redevelopment, many elements of the surrounding area pay homage to Victor Harbors historical connection to the marine environment, especially that special connection with whales. Light poles tip their hat to the shape of whale ribs, what look like vertebrate lie around in concrete freeform seating and the sculptural piece 'Crossover' sits in the centre of the whole site. Crossover is built from salvaged timber sourced from Moonta Bay Jetty (on Yorke Peninsula in SA) and from Victor Harbors own 'Causeway' which leads to Granite Island. These timbers range in age into the hundreds of years and are brought together to act as a signpost, not unlike an oceanic channel marker complete with swirling fish filled seas and gently floating clouds above.
