Join us in a brief Cache In Trash Out event to demonstrate our respect for how the BLM Campbell Tract was one of Alaska's first facilities to provide land manager approval for Geocaching! Participation in this event will earn you a special Groundspeak souvenir for taking part in the world-wide Fall 2016 CITO Week effort, and helps support the BLM's efforts to make geocaching a major part of the 'Get Outdoors' initiative taught at the Campbell Science Center here. GeocacheAlaska! is providing gloves and garbage bags - all you need to do is show up near the big campfire site on the southeast side of the Campbell Science Center facility to help. Please log your 'will attend' notice to help us plan for maximum effectiveness!
Prizes awarded for:
"Trashiest cacher" - (who collected the mostest, by mutual acclamation)
"Longest-Mile cacher" - (who came the farthest to be here)
"Best Recruiter" - (who brought the most muscle in their car)
...and any other worthy 'STANDOUT' effort made by cachers!
