Yarrs (Car) Park

Went out to a new DOC cache today, and decided that another cache should be planted to entice the city dwellers to head this way.

Yarrs Flat, what a name for an area. Did a little googling and came up with the following definitions for Yarr:-

1. A word used by pirates for pain.

2. A Scottish wild flower, aka corn spurry

3. Tommy Yarr, an American football player

4. Yarr Radio, an Asian themed station in the UK

Go figure, who'd have thought. I like the pirate definition best, Yarr! There be no blackberry here to make you go YARR!!

Cahe is a bison and should be a straight forward find.
