Geocache Description:

The substantial ruins of St Ninians chapel stand on the seaward side of the Isle of whithorn in Southern Scotland.

The chapel and surviving enclosure date back to aprox 1300.

The witness cairn since 1997 has commemorated the arrival of St Ninian  in Scotland.

Visitors are encouraged to add a stone of rememberance to the cairn and its steadily growing over time.


Walking from the car park towards the white tower you will find this cache along the way.
