One of a series of caches encouraging the travelling geocacher to explore Metz Road, Chinamans Gully Road, and Old Hillgrove Road into Hillgrove village and back out to Waterfall Way via Stockton Road. On the way there are opportunities to explore the vistas and mining history of the area.
Its so peaceful out this way, it makes a wonderful change from the noise of town to come home to. There are plenty of pretty spots along Chinaman's Gully Road and there's a grove of Radiata pines here. They are kinda feral really. They get to seed themselves around because the birds don't eat their seeds. "Furral", as my wizened neighbour puts it.
Cache is a micro in a camo container. Please make sure you place it back exactly as you find it.
