One of a series of caches encouraging the travelling geocacher to explore Metz Road, Chinamans Gully Road, and Old Hillgrove Road into Hillgrove village and back out to Waterfall Way via Stockton Road. On the way there are opportunities to explore the vistas and mining history of the area.
From this vantage point you can see across the paddocks to the head of Baker's Creek Gorge (Metz Gorge), with the creeek wending its way in from Stage Left. It is the kind of view that reminds me of profound things like the turmoil hidden behind the serene. Well, let's not get too carried away...
The cache is a small-regularish container with swaps and stuff.
