Few people know who built the original stone living room and when, but it has been here as long as most people can remember. The original stone living room was far more impressive than the current one. It once took up much of the rock outcrop where it sits and could comfortably seat 20 or more people. There were stone couches, stone lounge chairs and at the apex of the then horseshoe shaped living room, what could best be described as stone thrones. Two side by side, high back chairs, much taller than the others with built in arm rests.
It was destroyed about 6 or so years ago and rebuilt by a party known but to themselves. It has been destroyed at least twice since and each time it has been rebuilt it was smaller than the last,
Still it is a nice place to stop for lunch, or for a breather on the hike. Unfortunately it is also a magnet for litter and graffiti, so feel free to engage in a little CITO while visiting.
