Geocache Description:

Heath and Reach is a village in Bedfordshire, near Leighton Buzzard, not far from the A5 and is known for its sand. It is located on the Green Sand Ridge and has several sand quarries.

Suggested starting point is at the bottom of Bryants Lane and to walk up Bryants Lane.

Bryants Lane takes you past several of the quarries. This is quite a steep climb. When you get to the top of Bryants Lane you have a stunning view of the surrounding landscape,  including Heath and Reach 's very own turbine, which is the biggest turbine in the country.

The cache is the first one placed by us and shouldn't be too hard to find and is the first of  several on a route taking you around the quarries and back to  the village, with more amazing views, some looking right into the quarries.

Near the cache is an information board, giving you some interesting background and history.

You are looking for a Small Clip lock box which contains some nice swappable items - beware of the barbed wire!

Congratulations to The Desert Dogs for being the FTF
