Geocache Description:

This cache series is placed with varying terrains (including a couple of tree climbs) along a 3km segment of the GVT. Please observe the ratings and attributes, respect the trail, and replace the caches exactly as found!

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.
(you must solve the puzzle below, which is independent from the other caches in the series; everything you need to work towards the solution is via this listing)

The Gridrunner

Many years ago, the Phoon was adopted by the geocaching community as a traditional stance symbolizing the fun and enjoyment of getting outdoors, exploring new places, and spending time with many great and wonderful friends. ...and of course finding geocaches. Some may even strike the pose as a means of celebration, of conquering some task or goal. The act of phooning even resembles in a way the once-trendy "planking" fad. The first phoon was struck and named in 1980 by John E. Darrow, who still maintains a website dedicated to the pose.

Its form is typically that of someone running, captured mid-stride. Holding it requires balance on one foot, with the other foot lifted and arms bent at the elbow, opposed to the legs. It can take a bit of practice to be able to hold the pose for more than even a few seconds!

For this challenge series, the Gridrunner is one who takes challenges upon themselves, looks at what can be done, and sets out to achieve it. Geocaching statistics are just numbers, but the experience of achieving a personal goal, no matter how small or large, is one on which the Gridrunner thrives!

The Bonus Puzzle...

·〉〉
Congratulations to paperclips29 for being the first successful Gridrunner
to crack the code and enter the Grid, followed by sebast14n and mmsm! Will you be next?
For those who haven't cracked the code but have found the cache, please demonstrate Gridrunner integrity
by not being generous with the cache coordinates, handing them out to any who wish to skip the puzzle.
It can't be stopped, but it can be discouraged! Thank you.

The Cache

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.
The cache is located on this stretch of the GVT, between Victoria St. and Bridge St. There is roadside parking on Bridge St. at the trailhead, or on Shirley Dr a bit farther out from the south trailhead.

All caches along the trail are within a stone's thrown of the trail, max. The trail varies widely just in this 2.6km stretch, and is beautiful and rarely traveled; it can be very buggy in summer months! Many spider webs crossing the trail were disrupted during placement...
The cache difficulty is rated for the challenge. The terrain rated for the trail and container.

Now go run some grids!
