Geocache Description:


This is No 36 in a series of caches, some will be at sporting venues others may not.

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian

Football League during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945

due to World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the Medal if thy have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1969 Brownlow Medal was won by Kevin Murray from the Fitzroy [Lions] Football Team

He had 19 votes.

 

Thiis cache maybe difficult to get if there are any sporting event being held.

The cache is a nano. It contains a logbook BYO Pen.

Please be care when geting and replacing cache please dont drop it.
