Hillgrove and Metz exist on either side of Metz Gorge. The Old Hillgrove Road winds its way around the head of the gorge to connect the two village areas together. The surrounding paddocks, as you can see from this point, are littered with granite boulders relating to the Hillgrove Plutonic Suite, a granite intrusion into the surrounding sedimentary layers.
The cache is a small sistema container with room for a few small swaps.
