We learned while setting this cache that this local neighbrohood park was named in dedication as Schaberick Park. George Schaberick was the civic leader and fire commissioner. In 1963 this park was dedicated to him by the Shoreville park civic association.
This cache is located on a wonderful "little middle" island at the end of the road. I grew up with a middle island across from my house and having that plot of land was great for our dogs, the kids to play on, and a big convenience to have for family block parties and BBQ's.
