If you strike out either west or east from the “Sledder’s parking lot" you’ll soon run into lines of firmly planted posts that stop sled traffic from squeezing through the narrow openings between the trees. But for hikers, those same openings serve as convenient and kind of cool portals to the sprawling hay meadows beyond.
This cache is hidden near the westward “portal” and should be a very easy find.
