Earlier in the summer we placed a couple of caches at Battery Park. Soon after the park became infested with pocket monsters. Trainers and hunters then gathered to tame or defeat the beasts. Parking lots overflowed and the little park in the old Colonial town was filled with people watching their phones to find these monsters. This actually caused people looking for the one cache we hid to blend right in.
Things have now calmed down a bit, but beware in case any show up again. This cache is placed a little farther south of our earlier hides in the park in an area that we believe should be mostly free of the pocket monsters, but be on the lookout for anyone hunting for them. There is a popular walking trail nearby so beware of muggles when you step off the trail to go for this cache. The provided parking coordinates also seem to have ample room to park your vehicle. Enjoy the view of the Delaware River when you walk (or bike) from parking to the cache on the nice paved trail.
