Geocache Description:

My Grandaughter loves cemetery caches, so my Dad and I decided to put them in as many cemeteries as we can.

The cache is a small camo covered pill bottle. The cemetery is very old and has some interesting stones. When we placed the cache the weeds had been cut down but the ground was very uneven so watch where you are stepping,  CAUTION!!. Be sure to come into the cemetery from the east and return to the east. To the west is not really a road and it isn't even a trail.  Please wait to get this cache, if it has rained or snowed recently. You wouldn't want to get stuck

A little known story about the grave of Ruth Masterson, who died about 1890. She was the paramour of one of Bat Masterson's brothers, then of Dodge City. When it was learned that she was going to have a child she was brought to the Colusa area Where she lived in a dugout while she waited for the birth. Unfortunately both where lost in childbirth. Also four Civil War Veterans are buried here.
