The C Street corridor (A and C one way streets) has a number of salmon-themed sculptures along the roadway. At least five of the sculptures now have geocaches too. This cache has a little room for coins or pathtags, and should be a fun and easy find for beginners. Please be sure it is secure when you are done.
What do you think those giant fishing poles are doing on the 15th Avenue bridge?
They are fishing for the giant salmon swimming up A Street toward downtown. I hadn't really put these two sculptures together until recently -- so they were a secret to me. Now I chuckle every time I drive under the bridge and see the sculptures.
