Geocache Description:

This is the first cache to be placed by the next generation of the 3GS Mensproject.  Cerys, Liam and young Jacob children of a group member placed the cache inviting other members of the caching community to find and experience an area of superb natural beauty on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Start 'em young is located in a once heavily quarried area providing limestone for the Dowlais Ironworks.  The limestone was used with other raw materials found in abundance locally to make pig iron which was transported out of Cardiff and exported all over the world.
