Tuesday 6th December, 2016 from 7pm until 10pm


PLEASE DO NOTE THAT THERE IS A PAYMENT SYSTEM IN OPERATION IN THE CAR PARK. YOU CAN PRESENT THE TICKET AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK ON YOUR DRINKS BILL......

The Xmas dinner will cost £13.49 for a three course meal (same price as last year) and includes a £5 non refundable deposit if you're not able to make it. I pay in full before the event (by the November meet, please) to save hassle on the evening and then you settle your own drinks bill as you go along. We are limited to about 35 people seated and currently numbers stand at 22. The event (for those not eating) will be from 8.15pm until closing.

We shall meet just before 7pm to sit down together for our carvery Xmas dinner and then once we've eaten, we have a get together and swap prezzies in the Secret Santa (value £10) and also start off another TB race! Winner of last year's race will be announced too and hopefully certificates given out! There will also be a raffle towards our funds and the manager (Dan) has kindly offered us something as a prize! Any donations to the raffle would be welcome, thanks.

Both the Secret Santa and the TB race are optional for those wishing to take part.

If you wish to join in, you will need to buy a Xmas themed tb (or add something Christmassy to an ordinary tb tag) and PLEASE REMEMBER to take a photo to add to the race listing. You have to add your own trackable AND PHOTO to the race USING THE TB NUMBER AND NOT THE TRACKING NUMBER.... and remember to bring along with you to the Xmas dinner on the evening!

This year the tb race will be very similar to the current race except that some initial letters/numbers of the caching name of the cacher/s who physically retrieve the tb will be allowed to be used more than once!!! Confusing??? Not really and all will be explained by Janet on the evening....... The aim will be to collect letters (and numbers) towards spelling out a little sentence!!!

The nearest train station is Eden Park (directly opposite the pub) which is only 20-25 minutes from London Bridge.

There is a large car park to the rear of the pub.

Please feel very welcome to come along especially if you are new. You'll feel among friends once you walk through the door. We have our own area on the left as you walk through the main doors!!

Those who want to sit down together and eat must let me know so the table can be booked. Of course, this is an event and anyone may turn up but we will be seated in the restaurant and tables used by those eating. It will be possible for you to join us after the meal and the event timing has been scheduled to accommodate this. Please indicate in your log if wanting to come along but not be eating. Thanks.
