Driving around on a golf cart or pedaling on your bike and wanting to have a short hike on a mulched trail and sit in the shade on a bench with a beautiful view of Middle Bass? You can do that and find a geocache as well here.
The Massie Cliffside Preserve is the newest park on South Bass Island as of the hiding of this cache. There is parking off SR 357 and another off Massie Drive. There are bike racks at either parking. This is another area that will remain/become natural for future generations to enjoy. Take that, Once-ler! Approval for geocache placement obtained from Put-in-Bay Township Park District commissioner Lisa Brohl.
Replaced 9-21-2024 a clear small rectangular container with snap sides. Please take care to close it properly (will snap when seal engaged) to keep it water tight. Bring your own pencil!
