This is a two stage multi cache, THERE IS NO CACHE AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. Repeat - there is no cache at the posted coordinates.
This is my first attempt at art, I hope you enjoy it. This is #9 in the series. The rest will follow over the next couple weeks and will take you to many out of the way corners of Shandaken.
It is up to you , the geocache hunter, to decide to wait for the whole series or go for each as they get published. Can you guess the art will be?
To find the coordinates of stage one you have to add 0.341 to the north and add 1.765 to the west.
At stage one, find two signs identifying NY State land and one sign with Rules and Regulations.
Check the signs out thoroughly and carefully. One of just might be hiding the first stage!
Note - This area is mostly residential so please cache only during the day. While this is state land, at this location it is only a sliver of land about 30' wide and going back about 2500' to 95 acres of NYS Wild forest. The cache is out of site of nearby homes but be considerate and respectful of the neighbors.
Due to the size of the final, you will need to bring a writing instrument to sign the log. And I have been known to delete finds that do not have a matching log so please no 'drive by' or 'saw it but to much traffic to sign' finds.
I've rated the difficulty a 3 due to being a multi-cache, the need to do math and the final's hide. I'd be willing to alter that based on feedback if folks think it is unfair.
Good Luck and Cache On!
