Geocache Description:

You will be a guest paddling around the area where the Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course is located. The rowing facility is located in Port Dalhousie. It was constructed in 1903 as a permanent venue for the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. The facility is located on the Martindale Pond the fifth SCRC clubhouse is now located on Henley Island. Please do not paddle across Henley Rowing lanes if they are using course.

Caches are preforms or a few bison tubes with Rite in the Rain paper, if damp please wipe it dry and you will be able to write on it. All log sheets have a protective straw around them for easy exit from container, please replace the protective cover so the next Geocacher has an easy time. Please bring your own writing instrument to sign the logbook and replace as found. Parking and a launch area has been waypointed. This cache is intended to be retrieved by canoe, kayak, or any other type of small water vessel. Take a boat ride and enjoy the wildlife. Please do not walk on any private property. You should not need to exit kayak as all hides are meant to be easy to locate and sign. Most caches that are rated 4.5 for terrain should be easily reached from a kayak. Those rated 5 for terrain will be easier from a canoe as you may need to stand or reach into the tree or bushes. Have fun and play safe,
