Geocache Description:

A convenient quick stop on the " alternate route" 16

Long been a favoured spot of the mermaid, pirate & barnacle for a stretch & rest when transiting the backwaters of the Kaipara. There used to be a cache in the vicinity long ago... and now again :) BYO pen. Cache was a small whisky tin eplaced with a tiny rum bottle with logscroll only; room for small coins or TB
