Hanging With The Chief Multi-Cache

A walk of a quarter mile or so will get you to this very short two stage multi cache which will bring you to a unique feature of the Ninham State Forest.............. If you are familiar with the old "Chief Ninham" cache you will know the basic location of this one..................... The first stage is a bison tube (and it is not inside the structure) with the coordinates and a hint to get you to the final which is a camouflaged metal water bottle hidden very close nearby................. You can park on Nichols Road (way point below) or at the Gypsy Trail Road parking area (way point below) for a longer walk which ever you prefer............... There is a three hundred foot give or take fifty feet bushwhack involved here and I have given you a possible point to leave the trail (way point below)............ You will also have to make a stream crossing (when it is running) but don't worry as there are plenty of rocks which you can cross just watch your footing. I have provided a way point for an easy place to cross (see below)....................There is hunting in this area so you should wear something orange during hunting season........................There are twelve other caches in this section of the Ninham Forest, another two by myself and ten new caches by Team Geofrog which I can highly recommend.......... There is a pencil and a pen in the container but it is always a good idea to bring your favorite writing utensil with you when you come..........Have a nice hike, enjoy but do not disturb what you find here and as always Have Fun, Be Safe, and Enjoy!
