Small cache that blends in well a very short bushwhack from road or clearing. Starting with an unactivated zombie TB for FTF courtesy of apachegirl.
Welcome to the Beehive!! This fieldstone structure was built in 1870 by Albert Dyer of Plainfield for Hawley's most successful farmer William O. Bassett. This relic of our past agricultural-industrial heritage fell into disrepair once no longer practical for its function. Decades of thoughtful benefactors and skilled craftsmen are responsible for restoring and maintaining this site so that we may enjoy it today. Please obey all signage, be respectful and take a moment to read and educate yourself on this historic site.
