The 4Nathan caches are placed in honour of my son Nathan, an amazing young man. Early in 2014, at the age of 24, he left us to begin his greatest adventure ever. The family cottage in Baysville was his favourite place on earth. These caches represent some of the places and things he enjoyed so much, his love of life, sense of humour and spirit of adventure.
This cache is a tribute to those cute but pesky raccoons that are part of cottage life. Normally nocturnal visitors, one brazen little fellow visited us during the day. We had just hung a new bird feeder and were sitting back admiring our handiwork. To our amazement, the feeder suddenly started rising in to the tree! A raccoon, high in the branches, was pulling it up, paw over paw, to get at the seeds!
This cache is located at the bottom of the hill leading up to 4Nathan - Pine Tree On Steroids. Access is easier from the path leading uphill than from the road. BYOP
