(RO)Monumentul din piatră granitică a fost ridicat de autorităţile maghiare în anul 1896, în vremea marii împăcări dualiste austro-ungare, la marginea drumului Clujului dinspre comuna românească, de atunci, Someşeni, în memoria a doi ofiţeri honvezi Thamas Andras şi Sandor Laszlo, care au fost executaţi prin spânzurare de către armata austriacă, la 18 octombrie 1849 . La intrarea drumului Clujului dinspre comuna Someşesni era loc de spânzurătoare folosit de autorităţi de sute de ani pentru a speria călătorii.
(EN)The granit monument was built by the hungarian authorities in 1896, at the edge of Cluj road, the exit to Someșeni ( former village near Cluj, now a neighbourhood part of the city) in the memory of two hungarian officers Thamas Andras and Sandor Laszlo, who were hanged here by the austrian army in 1949. This was the place where they would hang people, so they would scare trevelers entering the city
(HU) A gránit emlékmű a magyar hatóságok építették 1896-ban, Kolozsvár szélén, a kijárat Szamosfalva (egykori falu Kolozsvár mellett, most a környék egy városrész) két magyar tiszt emlékére: Thamas András és Sándor László, akiket felakasztott az osztrák hadsereg 1949-ben.
