This is our first Geocache for the Warrumbungle N.P. Environmnetal Education Centre and Warrumbungle NPWS. We hope in the near future to have heaps more of these distrubuted amongst the park. The aim is to showcase the wonders that the WNP has to offer while getting you out and about.
The location at of this geocache is Camp Blackman. This area was once a farming property prior to 19670's. Now this area is used for the main camping ground within the NP and the location of one of 25 Department of Education's Environmental and Zoo Education Centres, the Warrumbungle National Park Environmental Education Centre. This location provides the perfect place to roll a swag out, pitch a tent, park a trailer or a van and visit the WNP Information Centre and get out and explore this unique park and surroundings.
