Remembering Jim Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ShannonLandry: I don't go geocaching over the winter. Each time I go near the area it's dark out so I don't want to get out and look around for a new place to hide the container. I'll archive it so someone else can place a hide here if they want. If the cemetery hasn't had a new cache placed by spring I'll replace this and reactivate it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Lakeview Cemetery. It is not on any graves so please be courteous and respectful around them.

This cache is a small medicine bottle with little trinkets and a log.

You should not need to actually enter the woods to find this but very very close.

My husband grew up just down the road. He died on March 22, 2011 when he was 28 years old of a rare heart disease called Lymphocytic Myocarditis. He loved punk music, watching movies and playing video games. I would have loved to make a theme for this cache but it would have been just be to hard as there are so few places to hide a cache here.

As you leave you may notice my husbands grave. His name is James Rockwell. He is buried next to his mother whom died when he was 10. Both left this world too soon.

I placed the cache as near to his grave as I could without disturbing it. It is approx. 20 feet away.

Bring your own pen. If you forget one just take a photo of the log and upload it.

Congrats to Asil80 and Manderine12 on being the FTF!!!
