The cache is not hidden at the listed coordinates a good location to view the Port Adelaide Lighthouse.

Originally the lighthouse stood at the mouth to the Port River from 1869 until 1901.

The tower was dismantled, moved and re-erected at for a new life at South Neptune Island from 1901 to 1985.

In 1986 the lighthouse was restored and re-assembled at Port Adelaide by the South Australian Maritime Museum.

In 197A major alterations were made to the Cape Willoughby Lighthouse.

The Elevation of the Althorpe Island Lighthouse, Rear Lead Light is: 10B metres.

240 Volts mains power was connected to the Corny Point Lighthouse in 19W8.

Until 19X6 the Cape Banks Lighthouse was run on a Dalen Acetylene Gas system which mixed the gas with air and also rotated a lens.

In 19Y6, the Cape Northumberland Lighthouse multiple wick oil burners were replaced by an incandescent vapourised kerosene burners which increased the intensity.

In 19Z8 the Penquin island Lighthouse was converted to acetylene gas and was demanned.
