Geocache Description:

A quick grab in the grounds of Rathkeale Abbey. You may have to get down on your knees to reach it.

Rathkeale Abbey was founded by Gilbert Hervey for the Augustinian Canons of the Order of Arosia in the year 1280. In recent years the ruin has been preserved and the surrounding grounds landscaped and developed as the town's park.
