Autumn is upon us and maybe some cooler weather that will make geocaching more comfortable. Never fear, though, it will be comfortable in the El Compadre as we enjoy Mexican cuisine while we ponder the rumors that the real reason for Christopher Columbus’s voyages was that he was trying to add souvenirs to his geocaching statistics by adding foreign (the Americas) countries to his list. El Compadre is just off Highway 37 in Mitchell. We will have a big side room where we can eat and mingle as we swap tall geocaching tales.
Come out with the South Central Indiana Geocachers and enjoy great food, great friends, and share caching stories. There may be a few door prizes for some lucky cachers. The restaurant features a large variety of Mexican dishes as well as traditional American dishes and some yummy desserts. We will meet on October 10, 2016 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM, or whenever they turn off the lights.
