History:
Westminster Presbyterian Church was founded on October 6, 1855 in Claquato with Rev. George F. Whitworth as the first pastor. It moved around a bit during the early years and the current building has stood at the entrance to downtown Chehalis for over a century.
In 1997, WPC purchased the building across Whitworth Way and called it the “Annex”. It was renamed in 2015 the “Carr Community Center” in dedication of the 31 year ministry of Rev. Ralph Carr.
