The location this cache has brought you to is now a nice location to spend some time outside by the water in the warmer months. However, this place hasnt always been here. A long time ago when this area was being built up by houses, a small resturant stood on these grounds named Kleinfelders. It was owned by a husband and wife and they served solely German food and German drinks. They were sucessful for many years and upon retirement sold the resturant to a single mom named Joanne. She renamed it... The Forest Inn. Staying with the culture she served amazing German dishes, however, she incorporated other dishes that were of all variations and they were all spectacular. The years of the Forest Inn were some of the most fun in the lives of so many from the area. The bar was filled with people as close as family and they hosted open mic nights, Halloween contests, Guest Bartending Contests....and the list of fun times goes on. Unfortunatley the time came when she was forced to sell as the Resturant business had been affected so badly by the economy. This Cache is placed in the memory of The Forest Inn, thanking the resturant for so many wondferul memories for so many patrons.
