This cache is hidden in Beartown Lakes. The GPS reception can be finicky at times in parts of the park. It is a very quaint and peaceful park. Please adhere to park hours. Use the parking area that is after the causeway at the park. This cache is near the multi-purpose path and the bike and bridle trail across the lake from the parking lot. This cache is part of a Girl Scout project for the little sisters of Troop 70764. The scouts named, filled, and hid the cache themselves. They've enjoyed learning the process. From the parking area, head around the lake counterclockwise. The cache is on a footpath near the multi-purpose path and it is near a bridge. Take the Whitetail Trail to find this cache. If your GPS is being finicky, take approximately 25 paces from the split off the multipurpose path around the lake. The cache is on the left side of the trail not far off the trail in a tree. The coordinates listed are from smartphones and portable GPS devices. Hopefully you get close. It contains (initially) a travel bug. The container is waterproof . Please be sure to seal it tightly and place back in the spot you found it. STL! The troop will monitor it so please report any maintenance. It was hidden with hopes to inspire others to have as much fun as the scouts did. The cache has been approved by Geauga Park District. The permit will be active upon receipt of the signed papers which were mailed 10/20/2016. This cache will remain in its current location till March of 2018.
