Bumpy side road near the Tramway Trailhead. This area was void of caches, so knew we needed to add our own. 4ed not required, but recommended. High clearance a good idea as well
When we camp, we prefer to be away from the site and sounds of civilization. We came out to check out the Tramway Trail, but didn't want to be right off the "main" road. We took this road and found this amazing spot completely secluded. Its a beautiful area with lively birds and squirrels. We saw a herd of elk while hiking around, and a bunch of wild Turkey while swaying in the hammocks. It is a bit of a bumpy ride, so be confident in your vehicle. Any off road vehicle would definitely not have a problem. It would be easy enough to hike to as well. It would be a great place to have a picnic lunch! Please be respectful of the area.
