Geocaching International Film Festival Event 2016 (Choppington, North East)
This event is being held to showcase the exploits of this years finalists of the Geocaching International Film Festival.
Come along and be amongst the first geocachers in England to see the finalist films (and one film from Geocaching HQ) from the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival. Previously, you could only see these films if you went to the event held every year in Seattle at the Block Party. This year, the Film Festival is being held from 3 - 7 November 2016. The film runs for approximately 60 minutes and IS suitable for children. It will be shown through a projector onto a large screen for your enjoyment. If you have a short geocaching film you wish to be shown after the main event please feel free to bring it along on a usb stick
Geokids are most welcome to attend, if they dont want to watch the film theres a large secure playground to explore
Everybody is welcome old and new Geocachers, you can even bring your granny if she need a night out!!!
While you're here, you can also meet new friends and catch up with old ones, discover and exchange travelbugs and pick up a hint or two you need to turn that DNF into a smiley.

Parking: There is ample free parking available on site,(please park in the school grounds not along road)
Groundspeak Souvenir: This event has been registered with Groundspeak as an official GIFF Weekend 2015 event. All attendees will receive a souvenir on their Geocaching profile once they submit their 'Attended' log.
Doors Open: 18:45hrs.
Show Starts: 19:15hrs sharp (60 minutes long).
You are welcome to bring your own popcorn / snacks / drinks to consume while watching the film.
Complimentary Tea / Coffee / Soft Drinks & Biscuits will be served while we chat about the geocaching exploits we've just watched and the FTF draw will take place with a special prize for the winner
Although there will be no charge for the drinks and refreshments a donation box will be there which will go directly to much needed school funds
Any body wishing to bring some fireworks would be most welcome, We can have a small display after the film
